I am an Associate Lecturer in the School of Psychology and Neuroscience at the  University of St Andrews.  My teaching involves  how to communicate psychology and neuroscience effectively, through media and public outreach events. I also teach the mechanisms behind behaviour. My research interests include nest-building in birds, general avian behaviour and I am a licensed bird ringer.
